The anatomy and pleasuring of the clitoris. As men, it’s important that we understand where the clitoris is, how big it really is, and some basic on how to stimulate it for our partners. Not knowing this would be like our partner not understanding what to do with our dicks. So let’s start with a diagram of exactly how big the clitoris is, and where is sits in relation to everything else we’ve discussed.

Diagram of the Clitoris

It’s Bigger than You Think

I find that typically, more people think the clitoris is only the glans that you see above the labia minora. We discussed that in this post. It is the most obvious outward part of the clitoris. So you can see in the diagram, here is a LOT more within that you can stimulate. The way the clitoris lies behind the labia majora inside the body gives you lots of ways to pleasure your woman. Our bodies concentrate most of our pleasure nerves on the end of our penis. In women, that’s in the first 2 inches of the vagina and clitoris. Because the clitoris position, and understanding the g-spot is within that range backs this up.

As women become aroused, the clitoris would be analogous to our penis. It will become engorged with blood. Because the glans firms up and sticks out like our dicks do, and the crus clitorus and corpus cavernosum both will enlarge inside and become a lot more sensitive. The bulb of vestibule on both sides are erectile tissue as well. So these will enlarge and put pressure on the crus clitoris against both sides of the outside of her vaginal canal. You can see in the diagram that inserting your penis into the vagina would push the bulb of vestibule outward, pressing them against the crus clitoris.

The Clit

The glans clitoris is what generally receives the most attention. It’s the outward presence of her arousal, it’s fun to play with and can provide a great deal of pleasure. In my experience, using my fingers to press the g-spot using a “come here” motion works wonders. As does inserting two fingers inside the vagina and spreading them apart and using the “come here” motion again. I would suggest doing either or both of these things while performing cunnilingus. There will be a post coming about cunnilingus.

Most women cannot orgasm from vaginal stimulation alone, they require some sort of clitoral stimulation. There have been studies that suggest the vaginal orgasm doesn’t exist. In my experience, vaginal orgasms do exist, but they are different from the clitoral and anal orgasms. As you can see, this study agrees with my experience. Do not be discouraged if your woman is like this. It’s similar to you having sex without using your penis (remember, the clitoris is analogous to the penis). So it’s not about you, it’s just how she’s built. The anatomy and pleasuring of the clitoris is something we should talk to our partners about. So, find out what she likes, what feels good for her, and do more of all of that! I’ve found that we discover things together that she often didn’t even know felt good!

External vaginal anatomy terms and definitions are some more basic things we need to have a grasp of. It’s difficult to please a woman if you don’t understand all the parts. Glossing over this important information happens far too often, so let’s cover it!

In this post we talked about the fact that there are 3 holes. That’s blunt but accurate. All these descriptions will assume you are looking at your girl where she is lying down on her back, legs spread. So that the top is her stomach and her ass is the bottom. Like the photo below:

External Vaginal Anatomy

Top to Bottom Description

The top is the mons pubis. Mound of venus is the what would be the front of the vaginal area if she’s standing, where the hair is and the area that slightly protrudes (some more, some less) when she’s lying down. It’s the small mound above the clitoral hood, where the pubic hair begins. That photo has the mons pubis under a pair of panties.

Under the mons pubis begins the area called the Vulva. That is what everyone calls the vagina or the pussy. At the top of the vulva is the clitoral hood. The clitoral hood covers and protects the clitoris when she is not aroused. As your woman gets aroused, the hood clitoris will become engorged and will push out from underneath the clitoral hood.

That brings us to the clit, the fun button. The main event. The clit has as many nerves as the penis. It will be firm and soft at the same time, and will elicit a response based on what you are doing to it. After we cover anatomy and other basics, I intend to cover techniques as well. It is important to note, do not get aggressive with her clit until she is ready. Too much too soon can and will ruin the moment.

Labia And Pussy

Now we’ve come to the labia majora and labia minora. The labia majora are the soft areas very near the labia minora. It’s the skin between the top of the legs where they attach to the hips and the labia minora. The labia minora are what everyone refers to as the pussy lips. Inside the labia minora is the vaginal opening and the urethral opening.

Within the labia minora and above the vaginal opening is the urethral opening. As part of the sexual organs, it’s sensitive but not really part of the sex act (unless you are into water sports, I’m not and neither is my SO). Obviously, she pees from the urethral opening.

This brings us to the vagina. Soft, strong, juicy, tasty. It produces all the moisture that lubricates sex, and has thousands of nerves for her pleasure. the opening will usually not have a smooth circular or oval shape within the labia minora.

Labia are all Different

Always remember, every woman looks different. Some have longer labia than others, some have more pronounced clitorises, some have larger openings than others. If you get the opportunity to SEE a woman’s vagina, you better do your best to make her understand that it’s beautiful, it’s part of her, and you appreciate her sharing that very private thing with you.

Examples of Different Vaginas from Jamie McCartney’s “The Great Wall of Vagina”

Below the vagina is the perineum, also called the taint. It’s the area below the vulva, which stops where the labia come together, and above the anus. The perineum is sensitive to touch, and can feel good to play with as well. Often, this is where women tear during birth.

Her Little Balloon Knot

Then there’s the anus. The anus is full of pleasure nerves as well, although not to the density of the vulva. I know what everyone is thinking “But, Admin, girls don’t poop!”. Well, yes, they do. You can play with this area in a similar way you do the vagina. You can apply pressure, you can gently enter, you can eat her ass (analingus or rimming), you can penetrate digitally, and or course there’s anal sex.

This post on external vaginal anatomy is designed to be a reference for all future posts about the female anatomy. Hopefully, it is detailed enough that it answers most questions.

Women’s Anatomy, G-spot, labia, anatomy basics! I feel like this could be a full time job! So lets start with some basics.

Myth #1 – How Many Holes?

You’d be surprised how many people (both women and men, in my experience) believe the myth that there are only two holes. This picture has some of the basic anatomy. As you can see there is anus, the vaginal opening, and the urethra between women’s legs. The clitoris is hiding under it’s clitoral hood above the vaginal and urethral openings. So, we can dispel with that myth easily enough!

Myth #2 – The G-spot Doesn’t Exist

Some people thing the g-spot doesn’t exist. It does. Because different women experience it at different depths and positions, the rumors will persist. There is a consensus as to its approximate location. Assuming your partner is lying on her back, insert a finger into her vagina with your palm up. Feel the top of her vaginal walls, you’ll feel a series of bumps or a rougher patch of skin. For example, to me like a very wet sponge, about 1-1.5 inches in. So, that’s the g-spot (in my experience, it’s the very farthest end of that patch of spongy skin). There will always be people that say it doesn’t exist. It very well might have varying degrees of sensitivity from woman to woman which makes is seem like it’s not a thing, but it absolutely exists.

Myth#3 – A Used Vagina is a Loose Vagina

There are a lot of myths to dispel surrounding the way a vagina looks as well, let’s dispel some of that craziness. Because the biggest myth I find in my “research” (read that as surfing the internet) is that more sex makes women loose. We need to work with our fellow men to understand this is NOT the case. This, to put it gently, is asinine. Vaginas are muscles, and get stronger (which translates to TIGHTER) with use.

Myth #4 – Labia Length Correlates to Vaginal Use

Outer and inner labia length has no correlation to intercourse frequency.  Labia are just the size they are. Sex does not, in any way, permanently change the length or size of labia. Now, there is a small caveat. That is, when women are aroused their vaginal area becomes engorged with blood just like ours do. Also, if you ever shame a woman about the way her most private of privates looks, you never deserve to see them again.
